Handheld GPS device leads to Coast Guard rescue of overturned kayaker

Here is an example of a simple handheld EPIRB saving yet another search. With immediate, accurate information, the USCG didn't have to search. They simply went to the coordinates and picked up the kayaker. Link is to the USCG news release with additional details.
